Trim Levels
The 2017 Hyundai Elantra features three trim levels: the SE, Eco, and Limited. All trim levels have the same exterior dimensions. The car is 179.9 inches long, 70.9 inches wide, and 56.5 inches high. It has a wheelbase of 106.3 inches.
All trim levels of the Elantra feature dual fold-away power body-color side mirrors, with the option for heating elements and turn signal indicators. You'll also find solar control glass and variable intermittent windshield wipers on all trims. Projector headlights with daytime running lights are standard on the vehicle, helping keep you a little safer on the road.
If you want to add a little extra style to the exterior of your car, you can get a chrome front grille, chrome beltline molding, and chrome door handles on the Limited model. Other optional exterior features of the vehicle include hood insulator, LED tail lights, automatic headlight control, and door handle approach light.
Engine
There are two engine options available for the Elantra. The SE and Limited models feature a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve I4 engine, which gets 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. If you choose the Eco, you'll get a 1.4-liter DOHC 16-valve turbocharged I4 engine. This engine gets 128 horsepower and 156 lb.-ft. of torque.
Performance
Choose between a six-speed manual transmission, six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC and Active ECO system, or seven-speed EcoShift dual-clutch transmission with SHIFTRONIC. The front-wheel drive drivetrain is standard on all trim levels.
Interior
Inside the car, you'll stay comfortable throughout the duration of your drive. Dual-zone automatic temperature control with CleanAir Ionizer and Auto Defogging system is optional on the SE and comes standard on the other trims. The driver's seat offers six-way manual adjustment. If you choose the Limited, you'll get power adjustment with lumbar support. Heated front seats are optional on the SE and standard on the Eco and Limited, while heated rear seats are only optional on the Limited.
Take control of your entertainment with the audio system in the car. Steering wheel-mounted audio Bluetooth, and cruise controls are optional on the SE but standard on the Eco and Limited. All models feature a USB port and auxiliary input jack, as well as AM/FM stereo, Sirius XM Satellite radio, six speakers, and MP3 player.
Safety Features
Peace of mind on the road helps you focus a little easier. On the SE trim, you'll get a driver's blind spot mirror. However, on the Eco and Limited, you'll get blind spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert and lane change assist.
